Hi, I’m Ashley. I’m glad you’re here.

I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to perform, have the right words, or pretend you’re okay.

So many of the women I work with are incredibly capable. They’re the ones people depend on—the helpers, caregivers, professionals, moms, and women who somehow keep everything moving. But underneath “I’m fine” can be exhaustion, anxiety, grief, self-doubt, or the feeling that somewhere along the way, they stopped making space for themselves.

I’m Ashley Rodriguez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California.

My style is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and human. You won’t find me sitting silently and nodding for an entire session. I believe some of the most meaningful therapy happens when you feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to understand yourself differently, and supported enough to begin making changes.

I’ll meet you with compassion, but I’ll also gently challenge you when I notice patterns that may no longer be serving you.

And yes—there’s room for humor here, too.

You don't need to become a different person.

Therapy isn't about “fixing” you.

Our work is about understanding what you've been carrying, recognizing the ways you've learned to survive and cope, and deciding what you want to carry forward.

Sometimes that means processing the past. Sometimes it means learning to set a boundary without drowning in guilt. Sometimes it means slowing down enough to actually notice what you're feeling.

And sometimes it means learning to speak to yourself with the same compassion you so freely give everyone else.

My work is humanistic, trauma-informed, emotionally focused, and influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to the person sitting in front of me. We'll explore emotions, relationships, experiences, patterns, values, and the ways your nervous system may have learned to protect you.

When I’m not in the therapist chair..
